Let it snow, let it snow, let is snow!

Yep, you guessed it... it's snowing like it's its job outside, and I am at the Grawn lab with Jimi working on stuff for EDU 290.... gotta love Dr. Merrill... no really, he actually is a great guy! Anyway, about the snow... it's been going at it for prolly about 3.5 hours or so now ( really snowing , not just flurries...) and there are prolly about, oh, 5 inches out there now I would guestimate. Anyway, I like it. Lucy is definately less than happy.. she dislikes snow, and if there is no snow then there is no ski trip, which she doesn't want to go on either. Next weekend will be an interesting one because of it if she has to go...... :::orders S.W.A.T. gear::

What a weekend it has been though! Friday was, well, friday, nothing to terrbily special went on that I can remember. Mostly chilled at my house.. I was alone all night :(. Saturday was Campus Cry, that was awesome. Dr. Bernadine Daniels rocks my socks!!!! The music was also great! A lot happened there that was awesome, but it is definately one of those ' you had to be there to know what I mean' things... Anyway, everyone needs to go next year.. trust me on this one!

Leadership was cancelled today, due to snow. That is nice cause I need to have a touch of a convo with Mr. Polzin anyway, and this gives me time. No, I am not leaving leadership... so don't even start those rumors. The only time I leave is when I leave CMU, at the end of the semester, but you all knew that.

I think that is about all I have at the moment, so as always, check out http://www.gregtraviss.com and do the message board thing and all that. Another update sometime soon.

The most satisfying Bowel Movment ever!!!!

What a day! I got up at 8:30 this morning and went to class... wow was that the most interesting installment of Dr. Reader I have ever seen, and he even offered extra credit! He never has done that before! Ever! Should be interesting to see how that all pans out.

I called the court today because appearently I got a real nasty letter in the mail yesterday as they had not received my pre-report juror questionaire. Anyway, when I called I found out that I got my defferment. I have to do the jury duty thing on the 3rd of June.... should be supreemly boring, but atleast I will be able to make it and no bench warrents will get issued for me failing to report. Good Stuff!

I got this email today linking me to a new product for all those music types. It was part of an ad for this new product from DVForge what it does is it converts either a 1/4 in. plug or an XLR (mic cable) to a USB cable for recording purposes. For more info go to this site: http://www.dvforge.com/plug.shtml.

I also want to take this time to plug the Greg Traviss Band, though they will be changing the name and getting what would seem to be pretty serious soon. They are great, lead by my man Greg Traviss and including Jake Davis, Mike Taylor, Lance Ransom and Gregs' wife Heather. They really rock and you should all check it out. There website is: http://www.gregtraviss.com. I highly recommend you all checkin it out. Also, go to the forums and post it up, after registering of course. I lurk there and I garuntee between Mikey, Greg and I we will keep it lively for you, and it will be a great ministry tool I truly believe once it gets populated, which is where you all come in. Forums are only what the people that post on them make it so post early, post often, and lets make it a great place to talk our brothers and sisters in the salt shaker!!!

HMMMMMMMM......what else to say, eh. Had the best German Chocolate cake today... it's sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo Good! I need to get the recipe.. it was made from scratch and was really moist. YUM!

Well, that is about all I can think of at the moment, so have a great night and hope to see you all over on Gregs' forums (they are message boards BTW.)

And you thought this post was going to be all about Poo!!! HA!!!! Take that!

School, jury duty and the Greg Traviss Band

Well, we are about one month into spring semester here at CMU. Consequently it is also my last semester here. For those that don't know, I am not actually graduating but transferring to Oakland Community College to start an Associates degree un Culinary Arts. The degree should take me probably about 2 or 2 and a half years. Leaving CMU will be bitter sweet, even though I am going to be doing something I like at OCC I still have to leave here and that means not being able to see Lucy as much as I would like, we will work it out though, I am confident of that. I sent in the app for OCC in on satuday so they should get it today or tomorrow. I am not worried about getting accepted as OCC takes pretty much anyone unless you are a) a terrorist or b) your an illegal alien, and even b is questionable. The Culinary Program is not one of those ones that puts you on a waiting list either so that is good as I have a personal vendetta agaist such programs.
As far as classes go at CMU I had an exam in my New Testament class on friday and got that back today. I got a solid B, which is not bad considering that Dr. Reader gives us more info that we could ever remember.

Now on to jury duty. Appearantly I have been summoned to serve jury duty on the 25th of this month. Being that I am at school and have no car it could be rather hard to make this date so I am seeking a deferrment till June on this little involuntary act of public service. I guess that is what I get for being a guy and having registered for the Selective service and having registered to vote... anyway, a pain in the butt since it went to my parents house and I just got the info in the mail from mom and dad on Saturday so I have to act kinda fast on this deferrment thing. If I don't get it and don't show they kinda can put a bench warrent out for my arrest and I don't want that. Which reminds me I soooo need to call them before 5.

I was gonna talk about the Greg Traviss band, but I have to head out so I will do that lata... peace out!
